THE WITCHER book series
BAPTISM OF FIRE
coin 5$
The Baptism of Firecoin is minted from62.2 grams of 999 silver. The reverse, with a diameter of 45 mm, shows an important scene from the book by Andrzej Sapkowski of the same title.
On the left side of the reverse, there is a hermit who incited the local peasants against a handicapped girl whom he accused of witchcraft. The White Wolf defended the girl with his company:Regis, a higher vampire, andMilva, an archer, who were placed in the central part of the coin. The hermit called them to a trial by fire, saying that only a person with an impeccable heart could remove a red-hot horseshoe with his bare hand. To everyone's surprise, Regis took the horseshoe out of the fire. Then the camp was attacked by a Nilfgaardian force and the entire company was dispersed.
Every detail of the reverse is clearly visible thanks to the high relief, and the whole thing looks extremely artistic, just like the world presented in Sapkowski's book. The accessories also attract attention. The reverse has an addition in the form of selective gold, which decorates Milva's arrow. Another interesting decoration element is acopper insert imitating a horseshoe. Due to the individual way of creating, the inserts may differ from the one shown in the photo and from each other.
The obverse is decorated with ornaments and symbols related to The Witcher. On the left side of the obverse there is information about the denomination, silver fineness and issuer.
The coin is packed in an elegant wooden box with a certificate of authenticity. Limited edition – 2000 pieces!
