THE WITCHER book series

Sword of destiny

coin 5$

Sword of Destiny coin is minted from 62.2 grams of 999 silver. The reverse, 45 mm in diameter, shows two scenes that appear in the story.

The main stage on the reverse, often described by experts and fans as one of the most important in The Witcher Book Series. It presents three characters: the Queen of Brokilon, holding the cup, Eithne, and the handing of the cup to Ciri, one of the main characters of The Witcher Book Series. Next to her is Dryad Braenn. In the chalice is Brokilone Water with special powers. Ciri drinking water from the goblet is to determine the fate of the girl and other heroes - she may stay in Brokilon or follow her destiny. The main scene is complemented by the background with the figure of White Wolf, who kills the centipedemorph - a forest monster attacking the inhabitants.

Every detail of the reverse is perfectly visible thanks to the high relief, and the whole thing looks very vividly, just like the world presented in the collection of Sapkowski's stories. Accessories also attract attention. The hero's sword was plated with pure gold. The most important element of the decoration, i.e. the cup, is made of hand-cut, multi-layered glass in which gold flakes are embedded. Glass inserts may differ slightly from each other and from the visualization.

The obverse is decorated with ornaments and symbols related to the Brokilon Forest and hero's attributes: swords and a wolf symbol. The elegant coin box also bears the symbol of the White Wolf, i.e. the wolf.
